First time in Sligo..went up on friday night. Took us 2 and half hours to drive up. Nice, quiet and calm place. Saturday started with big breakfast courtesy of our hostess, Zariena (thank you so much!! Still cant get over how much she cooked for us!) Then the trip started at the Glencar waterfall. Beautiful small waterfall as compared to the ones we have back home  But it was still very beautiful and we enjoyed the freash breeze. Then we drove to Manorhamilton, another small town and from there we spend about a few hours in Enniskillen which was located in the Northern border. We shopped in ASDA and could not believe how much we saved!! Thing were so much cheaper up in the North. After that we went to Bandoran, a town by the seaside. There big waves and I wonder why there weremnt any surfers around as Sligo are known for their beaches for surfers. We had picnic here. Then to cap the day, we watched sunset in Ross Point. We had kebab for dinner which was hugeeee...
Sunday morning, again, we started with a big breakfast and got ready for Dublin. We stopped in Carrick-on-Shannon on our way home for coffee and fed some wild geese.
All in all, short but sweet...

Awal febuari lalu,macam biasa it was snowing un Dublin..bezanya tahun ni it snowed for 1 week and about 3-5 inches each time..best!!!! We spent 2 days playing in the snow. It was the first snow for Zahrah and the second for Zulfah. Yang tak berapa nak bestnye yelah it snowed before Kiah's exam, nak main pun rasa bersalah..tak bestnye!!!! When the exam finished there was not a drop pun yang turun..tak ke dugaan tu????

Zahrah, 8 months old

A lot of things have happened since the last time this fotopages have been updated. We went for a 6-weeks holiday in Malaysia, Eids, Zulfah turned 3, the new year and Kiah changes workplaces
Here are some pics of Zahrah at her 8 months old. She is bigger and stronger now. She is truly a happy baby, smiling and laughing most of the times (especially if Ibu is there ) Trying to crawl but because of her heavy build, having some difficulties at it at the moment She is babbling away and there were moments when we thought she was saying "ibu" or "abah"  She has 2 teeth at the lower gum but no sign of the upper ones. She has started eating solids and would stop at nothing She loves talking walks outside the house and the cats at the backyard. kaklong Zulfah is being very good to Zahrah and the 2 are starting to grow fond of each other..aaaahhh

Bloom Exhibition, Phoenix Park
|

Some pics during our visit to Bloom Flower Show in Phoenix Park during the last Bank Holiday. Although the weather was glorious and the flowers were breathtaking, the entrance fee was expensive plus it was very tiring and took us almost the whole day to finish seeing all. Remind me not to go again next year..

Family Day Kg. Lucan
|
|
Bank holiday lepas Kg Lucan telah menganjurkan Family Day, our annual family gathering. This year it was held in Avon Ri Lakeshore Holiday Homes, Blessington on 30th May 2008. Kami tiba seawal malam hari jumaat bersama beberapa family lain. Macam biasa, makan roti canai dan karipap malamnya serta berbual2 hingga lewat malam hehhe
On saturday, awal2 pagi lagi dah start set up the scene for the program. Sementara menunggu ketibaan family2 lain kami main charade dulu  kalah teruk nampaknya team guys  Program bermula jam dalam pukul 12 dengan treasure hunt untuk the women. Seterusnya sukaneka kanak2 dan makan. Kemudian Games untuk the guys berupa obstacle challenges ala2 Fear Factor..ada yang kena cartwheel, lari dalam guni, makan telur, makan bawang dan tomato. Then there was futsal for the guys. Tak lupa juga BBQ in the evening. Program bersambung dengan games untuk couples. We ended up at number 5 during the best couple quiz but we triumphed at number 2 during the crossword puzzle for couples!! Dont mess with us! Program tamat dalam kul 9pm, kemas2 and we retired for the night early dalam kul 1130pm. The others were playing uno until the early hours when we left. Zulfah dan Zahrah tertido kepenatan malam tu. Zulfah really enjoyed herself with the other kids especially Solehah.
The day after were spent lazying around and enjoying the place. Zulfah had the chance to play in the pool. Abah went kayaking and there were archery and clay pigeon shooting too at which ibu managed to shoot 2 clays successfully!!Never thought ibu would ever made it, maklumlah..mata kero sikit
All in all, that weekend was fun and alhamdulillah dapat mengeratkan lagi silaturrahim antara families in Kg Lucan. It took 3 days for us to recover from the muscle aches after that!!

Majlis akikah Zulfah dan Zahrah
|

|
Alhamdulillah selelsai lagi satu tanggungjwab sebagai ibu abah. Pada sabtu 24th May kami telah mengadakan jamuan akikah Zulfah dan Zahrah di rumah kami. Majlis bermula jam 250pm dengan kata aluan dari abah Zulfah dan Zahrah seterusnya bacaan Yaasin dan doa seterusnya bacaan selawat beramai-ramai. Menu majlis adalah nasi minyak, kari kambing akikah, jelatah dan ayam goreng berempah. Kami mengucapkan terima kasih kepada yang sudi hadir on time serta yang memeriahkan majlis. All in all, alhamdulillah majlis berjalan dan berakhir dgn jayanya..
